We know how much the appearance of the lips matters to a woman. Most of the time, big lips are the symbol of femininity, of sensuality. Fortunately, today we have many options through which we can reach the desired appearance.
What do we fill our lips with?
The main filler used for lip augmentation is synthetic hyaluronic acid, which gives the lips the desired volume, after which it is resorbed by the body. The effect disappears in a few months, on a case-by-case basis.
As usual, I choose only the top products on the market, and now Juvederm Ultra 3 is the best variant of hyaluronic acid. The results speak for themselves, through the mega happy customers who come out the door.
Lip augmentation offers all of the following:
- Asymmetry correction
Is the procedure painful?
Sensitive and well vascularized, the lips may feel a slight pain. But, it is good to know that we will do our best to reduce this discomfort. We apply the anesthetic cream that numbs the area, or, if necessary, we can use intraoral anesthesia, used in dental offices.
The patient’s history confirms to me that the procedure is bearable, especially since it takes very little, somewhere in a few minutes.
What are the risks?
The products currently used are non-allergic and are very easily tolerated by the body. However, there may be minimal side effects, such as edema, which is swelling of the lips and redness. Don’t worry, they all reduce quickly in the first hours after the operation.
When do the results appear and how long does it last?
The best part about cosmetic interventions is that for most, the result is visible on the spot. The lips become bigger and more contoured, and the result depends on each body, but also on certain external factors, which can be avoided: sun exposure, solarium, smoking, etc.
So, if you want to make a change, we can choose to enlarge your lips according to your preferences – from slightly contoured to voluminous lips. Don’t wait for the right opportunity and take the step, if that makes you happier!
